- First - The seminal Mike Grell Graphic Novel “The” Longbow Hunters a three-issue prestige format comic book miniseries published in 1987 by DC Comics. Written and drawn by Mike Grell, it stars the character Green Arrow
- Second, the Jeff Lemire New 52 run: The Longbow Hunters first appeared in Green Arrow Vol. 5 #31 and were created by Jeff Lemire. where they surround John Diggle following an ambush where they were assisted by Clock King who double-crossed Diggle. Richard Dragon has Brick, Count Vertigo, Killer Moth, and Red Dart surround John and states that he is going to bring Green Arrow to them
- Kodiac from the New Longbow Hunters is a member of the Shield Clan, which was introduced in the outsiders war Issues 25-31

- Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim has shared a new, up-close look at John Wesley Shipp in his role as The Flash from the upcoming "Elseworlds" Arrowverse crossover. While the costume may look nearly identical to the one worn by Shipp during his first go-round as The Flash in 1990 and 1991, Guggenheim credited The Flash costume designer Kate Main with "pulling off this miracle," developing a costume that looked like the original but presumably did not leave Shipp as miserable as that one did.

Revealed (Date: 23 Oct 2018)
- The Monitor is coming to the Arrowverse and a new batch of set photos has revealed a first glimpse at the character in live action. The Monitor was a central figure in the classic DC Comics story Crisis on Infinite Earths, which became the template for the superhero event series. In the "Elseworlds" crossover, he is played by LaMonica Garrett.
