- The season 7 premiere will be directed by one of the show's longtime stunt coordinators, James Bamford. He said that he's bringing in some of the classic feelings of the inaugural season, but also with some new elements mixed in. "In the premiere you will find some elements with the Season 1 feel, but you will find other elements that is new, uncharted territory," said Bamford. James said he and the newly-promoted showrunner Beth Schwartz have intense plans for this fall that led them to having a meeting with the networko's censors. "Beth and I had a phone call with BNSP, which is our censors... a very lengthy phone call about a particular scene that we never had before. So we are really trying to push the limits on the show in the gritty factor," Bamford revealed. "We are trying to go as far as you can go within the confines of our network and what is expected of us and what we can and can’t do. We are not on Netflix so we will never be able to X, Y, and Z, but we are damn sure going to try."

- EW has learned that Tyler Hoechlin is set to reprise his role as the Man of Steel in this year’s three-night crossover. He will appear in all three episodes; the CW will also introduce intrepid Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane in the epic event. Casting for the role will begin soon. The three-night Arrowverse crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., then continues on Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. with Arrow, and concludes on the following night at 8 p.m. with Supergirl.

- Legends is looking to cast a currently unnamed Wolf Creature. The role is open to male and female actors of any ethnicity, but they do want the performer to be "in their late 20-40s." Description: This alter ego is always looking for a fight and cruising for a bruising, in the Legends’ best interest. Despite its intelligence, the Wolf Creature tends to look at things through black and white while also lacking social skills. His/her relationship with the Legends will be quite an uneasy one. The Wolf Creature tends to be loyal to those that they consider their tribe. They can also be impulsive and act quite selfishly from time to time, but that’s because of their natural animal instincts. They transform into this Wolf Creature when they are angry or experiencing emotional pain or turmoil.
