What was the overall theme for this episode / What was the link to the ep. name

    • “Night of the Hawk” (Chris start us off)
      • No hidden message again - just Hawkgirl and Hawk monsters
      • More Interpersonal Drama
    • Recurring theme of Looking Back at the past through a different lens
      • Race Issues (Ugh, the realtor left a bad taste in my mouth)
      • LGBTQ Issues
      • Sexism Issues
      • The entire episode centers around highlighting the differences, and the pairings exacerbate it (Jax + Cheerleader, Ray + Kendra, Sara + Nurse).
    • Fight scenes & Stunts: Share your thoughts (SP first then Neil)
      • Bird vampires. Okay
      • Fight at the Asylum with the “not great” CGI hawk monster bird vampires
      • Fight at Lover’s Lane
      • Drag race with a crash that wasn’t a crash
    • Time Travel: Share your thoughts (Neil then Chris)
      • 1950s Drag Race. Cars and rock n roll soundtrack set the era
      • Effect of Time Travel increases with the length of each “jaunt.”
        • Why even mention this?
        • I got a superficial American Graffiti kinda feel
      • Rip Hunter
        • FBI Agent with Snart
        • Pick up Jax’s girlfriend to be tended to by Gideon
        • Rip’s accent is awesome, but then he never uses it again
        • How does Rip perform as a captain this week on a scale of 1-10
      • Vandal Savage
        • Finds the meteorite
        • Curtis Knocks
        • Knows Kendra after the dagger is stolen
        • Experiments on Jax with the meteorite
        • Creepy in a sweater vest
      • The Atom - Ray Palmer
        • Moves in with Kendra. Interracial Couple.
        • Where do all of their moving boxes come from?
        • Almost gets caught breaking into Savage’s locked study
        • On again off again relationship with Kendra
        • Ray should totally never go undercover. “Your house looks very… normal”.
      • White Canary - Sara Lance
        • Take a position at the local asylum with Stein as a Doctor
        • Hates being Stein’s nurse
        • Meets another great nurse - Nurse Carlisle
        • Finds Hall H (ComicCon?) And Vandal Savage
        • Helps open a lesbian discussion with the nurse
        • Uses her extendable pool cue to save Nurse Carlisle and subdue Jefferson
      • Hawkgirl - Kendra Saunders
        • Moves in with Ray. Interracial Couple in the 50’s..
        • I don’t get the general concept of the plan with Savage - OF COURSE he’ll recognize her and go after her… and kill her
        • Where do all of their moving boxes come from?
        • Get me champagne!
        • Fights Savage
        • On again off again relationship with Ray
      • Captain Cold - Leonard Snart
        • FBI Agent with Rip
        • Pick up Jax’s girlfriend to be tended to by Gideon
      • Heatwave - Mick Rory
        • Jax brings it up that he’s gone
      • Firestorm - Professor Martin Stein
        • From cool to drool in only one episode.
        • Take a position at the local asylum with Sara as a nurse
        • Enjoys Nurse Sara a bit too much. Get me a coffee? Really?
      • Firestorm - Jefferson Jackson
        • New kid in town
        • Introduces himself to Betty. Confronts the football team BTTF style
        • Is attacked by bird vampires while necking outside the enchantment under the sea dance
        • Jax gets out of the car to talk to the cop. Really? He even knows it’s a bad idea.
        • Where did Jax get money for a new car?
      • Waveriderr/Gideon
        • Leaves without Ray, Kendra and Sara
      • Chronos
        • Takes over the Waverunner
