(a) From the comments: When Kendra says "tell that to Vash" in response to Ray calling Captain Picard "sexless", she was referring to Vash, the woman Picard met (and got together with) while on vacation in the season three Next Generation episode, "Captain's Holiday". Vash (played by Jennifer Hetrick) appeared again in the TNG episode "Q-pid" and the DS9 episode "Q-Less". That was a pretty obscure reference but a nice one for big fans of TNG.
