- Arrow: Season 6 Will Break Diggle, Physically & Emotionally

- Speaking with the press at Comic-Con International, David Ramsey confirmed that Diggle does, in fact, make it off the island alive, but he will be a profoundly broken man when he returns to Star City. Asked about Diggle’s greatest challenge going into Season 6, Ramsey replied, “We have to break Diggle. I think Season 6 we’ll see Diggle get broken in a way he hasn’t been broken before. It already starts in [the first episode], and I think there’s a certain amount of it that will continue throughout the season. I think it’s an arc for Diggle that we haven’t seen, even beyond his brother coming back to life and killing his evil brother and that leading to the death of the Canary.” Diggle’s brokenness will — in part — come from the trauma of his island experience will “greatly affect the whole team.” Diggle is typically an open book — keeping both Team Arrow and Lyla informed about what’s going on in his life. With these “monumental” physical and mental changes happening to him, it sounds like we’re going to see a version of Diggle we have never seen before.

- The CW’s first DC show, “Arrow,” has cast Sydelle Noel in a recurring role for its sixth season, Variety has learned exclusively. Noel will play Samanda Watson, an FBI agent who will be investigating Oliver Queen’s connection to the Green Arrow. Noel was most recently seen on “GLOW” on Netflix, and she also has a role in Marvel’s upcoming “Blank Panther” movie.

- ‘Arrow’ Producers Already Have Plans For Season 7 [TCA 2017]

- While previewing season six with the Television Critics Association after a panel for Legends, producer Marc Guggenheim, who also co-created and produces Arrow, said the Arrow writers already have ideas for season seven. “We’ve already started talking about ooh, we have a shape for season seven already,” Guggenheim said. “This is the earliest we’ve ever had an idea for a season that far ahead, but it’s come out of our conversations about season six.” Beyond season seven, it may be time to begin thinking about giving Arrow a proper series finale. However, when that inevitable time comes, Guggenheim would not require long-term planning to deliver the ending he and co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg have planned. “I think we’ve always had an endpoint in mind,” Guggenheim said. “We’ve always known how we want to end the show. That end point doesn’t require X number of seasons. If we had to, we could work towards it as long as we knew with enough leeway, we could work towards the moment we’ve been talking about since day one.”

- CW Announces Fall Dates For DC Superhero Crossovers – TCA

- CW announced that the first night of this season’s WBTV/DC superhero crossover will be Monday, Nov. 27 when Supergirl will be paired with Arrow. That day reps a one time move to Monday for the special occasion. The crossover concludes Nov. 28 with The Flash in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Commenting on the crossovers going from four nights last season to two this fall, CW president Mark Pedowitz said, “Last year’s (crossover) was the most successful week in CW history in terms of ratings and everything. We felt in this particular case we had Flash on Legends paired, so it was better to make it two two-hour movies – a miniseries – we thought this was the best way to go. We had a lot of conversations with producers and marketing people.”

- DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: SEASON 3'S SUPERNATURAL VILLAIN
RECRUITS GORILLA GRODD (Date: 02 Aug 2017)
- "At the head of whatever you want to call our evil organization, it's different. Last year it was three characters from the three different shows that form this alliance. This is a non-human entity," executive producer Phil Klemmer told IGN at the 2017 TV Critics' Association summer press tour. "This is a much more supernatural, spooky vibe this season. We're dealing more with magic. It's less real-world bad guys." Klemmer was keen to leave that character a secret, but he did promise you will hear the character's name in the Season 3 premiere. Unlike previous seasons which are more science or time-travel focused, Season 3 of Legends will "be more in the world of the occult and monsters." Following behind this leader as his acolytes are familiar characters like Damien Darhk, who will have been brought back to life after his death on Arrow, as well as Gorilla Grodd. This will be a post-Gorilla City Grodd. Klemmer confirms they're still actively campaigning for Matt Ryan's Constantine to appear on Legends of Tomorrow as well.

- What do you have on Barry’s return to The Flash? — Apparently, not everyone will be on board with how to go about getting Barry back. “I wish I could say that the team unanimously agrees that things are not the same when the season starts, but not everybody feels that way,” Carlos Valdes tells me. “Most of the energy on the team is toward getting Barry back, and Cisco may or may not have some things up his sleeve with regards with how to make that happen, but there is a member of the team that’s not on board, and that ultimately makes the mission to get Barry back a lot more difficult. But the thing about Cisco is if he wants to get his friends back, he will do whatever it takes the get his friends back — and that’s not just Barry.”
- With Floriana Lima not sticking around as a regular, is there any hope you can give for Sanvers on Supergirl? — Yes, Floriana Lima won’t be a series regular next season, but the Supergirl bosses hope to keep her around as much as possible. - Legends of Tomorrow Casts Spartacus Actor as Julius Caesar

- When the show resumes this fall, the Legends will travel from present day 2017 to Ancient Rome. When in Rome, the Legends will run into none other than the infamous Julius Caesar. CBR has confirmed that Julius Caesar will be played by actor Simon Merrells. Merrells previously starred on The CW’s The Tomorrow People with The Flash’s Robbie Amell. Marrells is also the sixth Spartacus actor to join the Arrowverse, which includes Manu Bennett, Todd Lasance, Liam McIntyre, Nick Tarabay, and Katrina Law.
