ARROW NEWS:

  1. Here's How Much The 'Arrow' Costume Costs ToMake (Date: 10 Dec 2017)
  2. During a recent panel at ACE Comic Con Long Island, Arrowshowrunner Marc Guggenheim was asked just how much it costs to produce Oliver Queen/Green Arrow's (Stephen Amell) costume. As he revealed, each new version of the suit costs around $5,000. The topic of Arrowverse costumes - and their price tag - have come up quite a bit in recent years. Most notably, Ray Palmer/The Atom's mech suit seems to be the most expensive, with a 2015 report saying that it costs $189,000. Legends executive producer Phil Klemmer said, "The only challenge is how expensive his costume costs, and the danger that we actually injure him doing stunts, because his costume actually costs not just more than a car — more than, like, your average American home. "So the scariest thing about Atom is I’m thinking, like, 'When do you use a digital double, and when do you use Brandon?'"

  1. 'Arrow' Showrunner Says Both Booster Gold and Blue Beetle Have Been Talked About (Date: 09 Dec 2017)
  2. During the DCTV panel at ACE Comic Con in Long Island this weekend, a fan asked if Blue Bettle and Booster Gold had ever been considered, especially since Kord Industries has been mentioned multiple times and it turns out, they have. "I will say, both those characters [Booster Gold and Blue Beetle] are characters we've talked about," Guggenheim said. "Originally Ray Palmer, who was introduced on Arrow, he was supposed to be Ted Kord and we went another way. So, you know, Booster and Blue Beetle, all the 'B' characters really, we're always talking about but nothing I can announce or speak to at the moment." Of course, Blue Bettle and Booster Gold aren't the only characters Guggenheim has considered bringing into the Arrowverse. Guggenheim said earlier in his panel that he would really like to see The Question appear on Arrow.

GENERAL DC NEWS:

  1. Legends of Tomorrow loses another team member (Date: 05 Dec 2017)
  2. It should come as no surprise that just one episode after the death of Stein, Jax has decided to leave the Waverider — and EW can confirm that Franz Drameh has exited DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Though Jax will no longer be a regular face on the Waverider as a Legend, the door is open for the character to pop up again in the future.

  1. Supergirl to Turn Monday Time Slot Over to Legends for 9 Weeks (Date: 08 Dec 2017)
  2. The CW has announced that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will thus resume Season 3 on Monday, Feb. 12 at 8 pm, where it will finish up its season with nine straight episodes (landing its finale on April 9). Supergirl will then swoop back into its Monday home starting April 16, and air new episodes straight through to its own Season 3 finale, which will now air outside of May sweeps (on June 18). All told, that adds up to 23 straight weeks of original Supergirl/Legends/Supergirl episodes airing in The CW’s Mondays-at-8 time slot.

  1. Exclusive: Current 'Arrowverse' Character to Replace Firestorm on 'Legends of Tomorrow' (Date: 08 Dec 2017)
  2. According to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, "a previously established character from the Arrowverse" will be stepping in to replace Firestorm on Legends. "We do have a plan for how to replace Firestorm on the bridge, and it's a really cool one. It's one we're really excited about." Guggenheim continued, "There's really like two empty chairs on the Waverider. So we do have a game plan. We've always had a game plan. I just can't talk about the game plan. The CW publicity will determine when we get to unleash that bit of news." One strong possibility fans are hoping for is Matt Ryan's Constantine. Another popular option amongst fans would be Kid Flash himself, Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).
